We got this car a while back off an old guy who took it to shows but became too sick to enjoy and parked it in his garage for about 5 years. It ran when we picked it up but we have had it parked for six months and now she cranks but doesn’t fire off best guys is fuel it stinks. Also needs some brake work to be on road peddle goes to floor so has to be towed. Interior is in amazing shape and whole car looks good with very little rust This is a great buy and I hate to sell it but finances are forcing me to Come and get it Clean title in hand. TerryB
They can’t afford to pay the shop to fix it? Taking pictures at the repair shop parking lot raises some questions on how much work it needs. 1
plymouthcranbrook
It doesn’t look like a bad car although as TerryB said it is always a concern when sitting immobile anywhere. You would be best served by seeing that one in person more than some others. Price is near the high end of what I would think a running driver in pretty good shape would bring.

Rivguy
I'll bet it's the shop that is flipping it. New brakes; master cylinder, booster, brake lines, wheel cylinders, tires, all add up. Carb rebuild, ignition fuel pump, cleaning out gas tank. The seller doesn't want to invest the money because it's a four door and they need the right buyer. Someone that doesn't care about the number of doors and would be willing to put the money into it. The car looks to be in great shape and I have a thing for green cars.

Brooklyn Beer
I found my all original 53 Plymouth from a shop here in TX in much the same manner as this car sits. Grandson inherited and could not fix and when got the bill gave it to the shop. Easy cars to work on. The 53 sedan I found I got for 1700 because nobody knew how to pull the water distribution tube that was plugged and get it to stop overheating. Brake issues and shitty gas sounds like an easy project. Bet it fires over with a couple shots of starter fluid. I won't touch it for 8 or even 4 but if it is still there in Feb I bet he takes 3500

63RedBrier
If you have to redo the interior and you can't find the right green, go with a contrasting color! Maybe in the tan family? Results would work better the diner green vinyl...
