Mine is an aftermarket, metal with orange plastic coating for my 1954 Cadillac, a Type 3EE ( or Type 3ET). there is a slight difference, Same 19-1/4 Length as for a 6-Volt Type 2E, But the 12-Volt 3EE battery is 1/4 inch wider.
