  1. Is there a car in this ad? 😀
  2. I am crazy about this car and if I don't find a good home for it I am going to Paint it, do some chrome and stainless work, maybe do the seats and maybe sell it but for over $30,000 or keep it till I drop! Also like the ad, Is this a car or a puppy, finding a good home, , or a threat about keeping the car, its a nice car. I also am looking for a good home, hopefully a home with, gold bars in it, and a 10 car garage.
  3. Straight8 Thank you so much for looking at that part, you are correct about missing number on part. I was afraid of that part not fitting my car. Oh well, will keep looking, thanks again.
  4. Hello and thank you, Trying to buy (group 6.750 part no. 50839) Its a steering column bracket, I think it might only fit a model 26-28 Just wondering if it fits a model 25 also? any help would be greatly help
  5. Thanks jfranklin, I have looked under the seat and all looked original, I will look again, but you are right it doesn't make sense to have two different fabrics. thanks
  6. 46 Pontiac sport coupe, I am starting to get ready to replace my interior. While looking at it yesterday I noticed the front seat has one type of fabric, (Bedford cloth) while the back seat has on the back section (where you back rests) has the same Bedford cloth. but the seat section on the seat has a different pattern cloth. The interior has never been change totally original. I am sure about this. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this in others cars, or any Pontiac experts can tell me it was done this way. first photo is front seat cloth, 2nd photo is rear seat photo of bench seat part. hope this make sense.
  7. 1912Staver , thank you so much for the detailed remarks, it makes alot more sense to me now, in the way you put it, I certainly appreciate that. Ok then I owe you a beer, or coffee, or tea, whatever you want, I enjoy listening to a knowledgably person, thanks
  8. I did notice, the car is in Canada, and did the conversion. I love conversions, especially in France, where I can get a croissant for $2.50 USD, instead of $6.00 here in California and half the taste. The 2 grand saving will put eaten up with transportation and paperwork getting it over the border. Since it doesn't run that's a issue. But I still like the car, and a sucker for chrome,
  9. 1912Staver Sorry to disagree but I am outright Pontiac lover, nut, fanatic, just LOVE this car, I also live in California where people and prices of cars are outright crazy, and yes I do agree that even if a car was a few thousand more than I wanted to pay and really like the car I still would buy. No pictures of the interior or engine, mostly likely in bad shape. Red primer on trunk lid showing through never a good sign. I am for getting what you like, but there are better buys out there,
  10. 1946 Pontiac 2 door sport coupe, Looking for interior door trim, stainless steel trim that fits on door panel. Size is 3/8 inch wide and 41 3/8 inch long thanks
  11. TerryB I totally agree with you about front seat, the smell of that seat could start a windmill in a old dutch painting.
  12. Painting the the letters on the hubcaps, will be going with "one shot sigh lettering paint" they have color "vermillion " it looks close, or might be using Testors model paint, haven't picked put the color yet. Does anyone know the correct color? thanks
