Wood spoke wheels

I am looking for a wheelwright preferably in the Midwest part of the US to respoke a set of wheels. Any info is appreciated

We have been very happy with Mel in Ohio through a few sets of wheels. I am in Lafayette, IN and have a set of 26” wheels wooded by him and not yet finished if you want to inspect.

A lot of people on another forum that I frequent really highly recommend Stutzman's. I don't know exactly where they are located, somewhere in mid-West Amish country. I know their workmanship is excellent!

I think Mel Draper in Ohio (see  gossips post above) is associated with Noah Stutzman.  I sent Stanley wheels to Mel, but Stutzman did the work.  And what beautiful work it was!

I have had many sets of wheels done by Bill Calimer, one set done by Stutzman, my vote is for Calimer, never been disappointed with his work.

I had a set done by Stutzman a few years back.   Excellent work and reasonable price.
