OIL......question please

Walmart has Mobil 1 "5W-30 Extended Performance Full Synthetic" oil

on sale with a $15.00 rebate for 5 qt. container.

 

5 quarts total $9.37 after rebate.

 

Question/s Please:

 

I have 1 coupe     with 140k

            1 roadster with 68k

            1 roadster with 45k

 

*Should I buy the oil for 1 or all of above?

Sounds like a good price on a good oil, and is appropriate for all of them. Now if you can just get fuel for all of them, life will be rosy.

I use synthetic blend in all mine. I thing it's Citgo brand. Fleet Farm [ a local big box hardware chain] runs rebates all the time. Net cost about $5.00 a 5 quart jug.

Yeah it's really pointless to spend too much on a full synthetic.  ALL modern oils are 10 x better than what was available when the Reatta was new.  I don't know about Dave who drives his cars, but my 2019 Toyota Tacoma has 2500 miles on it because I have a company vehicle to drive.  i changed the oil at about 2100 miles after one year and this oil I won't change for at least 2 years. 

 

Modern full synthetics ought to go 5,000 to 10,000 miles easy, so for a Reatta that means one change every 2 years, easy decision.
