Buick35
Has anyone had success with holding a car raffle and what are the legal ramifications? I would think you might have to sell many tickets to break even. I thought about doing one for my MGB. I tried selling it for $6500 which I think is fair bit no luck so far.Thanks. TerryB
Check local laws for small games of chance regulations. May not be legal if you are not registered as a non profit.
John_S_in_Penna
Your state may have rules on raffles, since they are a form of gambling. In Pennsylvania, our AACA region has had to obtain a "Small Games of Chance" license from the state in order to hold a 50-50 drawing at our annual car show.
