The1957Mechanic
This is another leftover part from a build that I cannot identify. It was given back to us from the mechanic after finished a 1957 Cadillac. Any ideas what this is? a clutch maybe? It seems like something meant for the trash rather than spending the time to sell it. Let me know, any and all help is appreciated.
auburnseeker
It's a used fuel pump. Could be for a caddy. Style looks about right.

The 55er
A guess would be it's for a 1960-1961 Ford, Edsel or Mercury V8. Post the number on the flange by the long arm at the top of the picture to verify.

Scott Bonesteel
Fuel pump with a combined vacuum pump on the bottom, probably to power windshield wipers.
Guest
It looks similar to the pump on my 1957 T bird, with the two vacuum lines on top.
Marty Roth
Also called a "Dual-Action", or Dual-Diaphram" fuel pump. One pumped fuel to the carb, while the other created vacuum to operate wipers, etc.
