John_S_in_Penna
I noticed that interior, too, Jake. Here is the interior of a '48 Buick Super which I believe is correct, because the car was beautifully restored and won an AACA Senior. It is a subtly striped broadcloth. A Roadmaster's interior may have differed somewhat, but it would not have been velour. edinmass
They saved 400 bucks on the material. Spent extra on the labor. And now have a car that most people will want a fifty percent discount on a sales price. But they saved the 400 bucks on upholstery material cost. Pete Phillips
The pattern on the seats and door panels is correct, but the material is wrong, as noted above. This is the final year that you could have 3-speed standard shift on a Roadmaster. Looks like someone put a correct, new wiring harness on this car, which is good because the fabric-covered wiring flakes off when it is old.
