A fantastic glossary from A to Z on every word,frase or chemical used in all finishing explained,most of which are still in use. Sorry no reference to epoxy or urine-thane 😎LOL.

For those with a mild curiosity of what it took to factory paint automobiles (bodies) in the 20's ,here is the basics.

This preparation procedure with significant drying cycle times gives an excellent explanation why body painting was such a major production bottle-neck until the introduction of fast-drying Duco lacquers.   Legions of men engaged in very laborious work and massive body banks where the painted bodies went to finish curing before being taken to the assembly lines.
