daniel boeve
I cannot understand why people aways change the wheels and many times the tires also .For me the value declines at that moment .
Fossil
Same reason they think sticking a SBC with an automatic in it is a good idea. 🙁 Edited January 28, 2021 by Fossil (see edit history)
deac
The wheels and tires make the car look stubby. A ridiculous look! Along those line how about the Pontiac steering wheel and the matching steering column! So what we have is a Ford body, Chevy V8 and a Pontiac steering wheel and column, oh and the wheels & tires! What do you get? a car put together with whatever parts were available all for 15G's. Not for me!
suchan
Talk about a jackalope. Much more powerful motor, discs, wheels and tires, and Ford's stone age transverse leaf spring suspension. A recipe for a quick trip into a ditch. I'm not a fan of these cars, and even less so of dumping a small block into everything that predates small blocks, but it wouldn't look quite as bad with steel wheels and Ford dog dishes. And find a way to adapt an old school steering wheel onto the tilt column.
