Lebowski
I emailed the seller last night but have not heard back from him. Since it's been in CL for 12 days I'm afraid it may be sold. I wish I had known about it sooner. If I hear from him I'll post the status of it here. Thanks to 58L for posting it....
auburnseeker
I wouldn't be surprised if it's still for sale. Doesn't seem like a screaming bargain. Might just be slow at getting back or your message went to their spam folder. Some of my Craigslist stuff seems to end up there. The upholstery on the rear seat isn't original either. Just as a heads up. It's atleast a better cover than on the front seat though.

This Craigslist ad is a re-list from May when the Seller listed for $8,999. It's been for sale for at least one month. https://forums.aaca.org/topic/344049-1957-oldsmobile-not-mine/ Edited June 18, 2020 by 6T-FinSeeker (see edit history)
bryankazmer
I had an Allegheny Green 57 - the interior is attractive but I don't think that the seats are original or original style. The solid rear bumper tips, painted panels below tail lights, and no star on the tail light lens are correct for an 88. Exterior colors are a factory combo. JamesR
When I think of all the old cars I had $8700 or more invested in...and I could've owned this cool looking Olds instead.... Hope you can get into this car, Lebowski.

Sometimes you have to send two or three email responses to get the seller to take you seriously. That's because he's no doubt received multiple scam responses already and deleted those.
