ericmac
This might seem like an off the wall question but I am wondering if anyone here knows the color of the Duesenberg Murphy Convertible Coupe Fred Duesenberg was driving when he had his accident. I am building a scale model of it and want to be close to correct if I can. I plan to post this on the ACD website also. Thanks.

vintagerodshop
Was it not a very dark green?
alsancle
I always thought black too but Kirk May be right about the green.
Restorer32
I know he was driven to the hospital in an Art Deco 1932 Model 900 hearse, the chassis of which still existed in the 1980's. I was surprised to find an historical marker commemorating the site on US 30 near Irwin, PA.
alsancle
Bob Friggens in Arizona owned that car for years along with Bob Day's 500K Special Roadster. You could say that Bob had good taste.
