John S.
This Newport is much cleaner than the New Yorker 2 door Hardtop.
TerryB
Yes, nice car and looks in decent shape. Seems like a lot of nice post war Chrysler cars on the market.
Brooklyn Beer
Big fan of these 60-64 tanks. Like driving a mattress down the road. Mine got even softer with modern shocks

36 D2 Coupe
Love the colour. We had a '59 Canadian Dodge that colour with a maroon roof - factory colours. Could always find it in a parking lot! I'd love to have it if it were closer.
Brooklyn Beer
All I can say is that if he has that 9 port vacuum switch working that controls the heat and AC and the 4-5 actuators that alone is worth the headache savings. Mine is hot wired with a on/off switch under the dash for the blower motor and the damper door is the cable for heat or no heat. The rest is non functioning. Total disaster of vac lines everywhere. The part is about 100 bucks but tracing everything takes a full week easy.

I don't know if that's easier or harder to deal with than the early to mid-sixties Thunderbird system, but I decided to run away screaming from the mess that is my '65 T-Bird vacuum system. I am, as they say, "leaving it for a future owner to address." I have heat through a manual temp. control valve via the defroster, and might hook up a cable for the heater damper.
