Mark Kikta
If I remember correctly for my 22 6cyl Olson's kit came with cork pieces for front and rear end caps because I remember They were hard to keep in place while installing the pan.

Mark Kikta
Maybe you are right and there was not one for the rear, It seems like that could have been the case now that I think some more. I do remember fitting the gasket around the rear cap. When you get old you get that CRS syndrome😁

Hubert_25-25
On my 1925 6 cylinder standard, I have 1 photo of the rear pan end and 2 photos of the front. There is a strip of cork that wraps around the crankshaft area on each end. The front cork strip is longer than the rear strip. The book of parts also mentioned 2 small chunks of cork by size for the rear bearing, but these were not in the kit (which was not purchased from Olson). Be sure to coat both sides of the gasket with sealant. I am partial to blue hylomar for a gasket sealant. Hugh

Mark Kikta
Here is a photo of my rear end cap, and now I remember there was no seal for the rear cap, there was an oil slinger on the crank right behind it to keep oil from going out the rear.
