How to Repair 1920s Vacuum Cylinder? ( I Need Cup Seals)

Hello everyone. I have a pair of vacuum operated turn signals from the 1920s. It consists of two vacuum cylinders (one for left and one for right) that extend outward and light up to indicate a turn. I’ve posted about them on this forum before. I will post a link to my previous post when I get home.

Anyway, one of the cylinders had badly worn leather seals and I did the stupid thing and removed them thinking I could substitute in O-Rings. Well that didn’t work and now I’m wondering who I can go to or what I can do myself to repair these seals. Thanks

Here are the springs that kept the seals pressed against the inside diameter of the cylinder

Here is where the seals were. There were two of them, one for each direction of travel. The end was sealed with cork.

I contacted them through email Monday and haven’t heard back. I sent them a quote for the following custom up seals.

Just today I figured out how to disassemble my piston in order to get dimension readings for the new seals.

Here it is taken apart. Turns out they are threaded:
