Grimy
I've always wanted to see and hear that, so thanks John. Must have a rather rich dose of MMO in those five engines! 🙂

Guest
WWII tank engines as most military things in a war are repaired or replaced with no concern for cost or difficulty. The only concern is winning.
jpage
I had a customer whose father was a WWII tanker in a Sherman. Unfortunately he was killed. Those guys were brave to go up against the Panther and Tiger tanks!
Guest
Since we, the allies had a 50 to 1 advantage or so SOP seemed to be a line of our tanks went out and when a Panzer blew one up our tanks then we had a target to shoot at. What a way to run/win a war. Thanks to our brave men who died and those who came home. My first memory is of the first train load of soldiers that returned home to Winnipeg on the CPR in September, just around my fifth birthday in 1945. What a parade.
