OldCar45
This photo was taken near Bend, Oregon, probably in the '60s. But the car is much older than that. I appreciate your help in identifying it.

OldCar45
Thanks for the quick identification and for the photo. Also for advising me the photo looked flipped - which it was.
StanleyRegister
Here's another picture of the same car, taken in Bend on May 2, 1959, in the deferred Oregon Centennial parade. The newspaper reporting says "From Eugene came an old-time car." Does anyone know who in Eugene might have owned this Underslung in 1959?
modela28
In the parade picture, there appears to be no body past the windshield / cowl and no doors. It also looks like the passenger and driver are standing because the tops of their heads are showing above the windshield and the passenger is holding on to the windshield for support! modela28
I see it now. There is no body on this car past the cowl! Going back to the original post and looking through the windshield, there are no seats or upholstery showing The taillight and rear license tag are also clearly visible through the windshield. The lack of body may help determine who owned it in these pictures. Edited January 22, 2021 by modela28 (see edit history)
StanleyRegister
I'm starting to wonder if it became this car. Harrah bought the basis of this in '62 from someone in Idaho, but it looks like the body and fenders could all be freshly fabricated.
