Tim Wolfe
When our car was restored I had a second taillight installed and all new wiring. Adjusted the third leg on the generator. When the headlights are on, the turn signals do not work, turn headlights off and they work. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. ( other than hand signals! )
Bloo
Turn signals in 1930? We are going to need to know more about what you have and how it is wired to really troubleshot this. Also, whether the signals come on but don't blink, or don't come on at all. My initial wild guess is that your taillights and signal lights aren't grounded. JACK M
Try a different flasher. But yes, GROUNDS FIRST !!!!!
Isaiah
Do like Jay Leno and put on the wireless turn signals ! He also uses the suction rear view mirrors.
hwellens
Sounds like the turn signal current is going to the tail light circuit and not the brake light.

Isaiah
All led's have to have the polarity right . If you reverse the polarity they wont light.
Tim Wolfe
Bought a new flasher from LEDLight.com and installed it today. Problem solved, turn signals work great. Cost was around $12.00.
