Barney Eaton
I may have posted some of these before and if you were at the 2008 Reatta Roundtable, Dave had them on display there.

Nittany
Thanks Barney! Mr McIntosh has mentioned over on the Facebook Reatta page that he anticipated a more aggressive rear wheel drive second generation Reatta ... As an example, he recently mentioned the front hood emblem should have been located more on the nose of the Reatta but once it left the design studio the bean counters forced a number of changes including the more traditional location of the emblem on the hood. He does currently own a Reatta coupe. I am not advocating or promoting the Facebook site, just reporting what I have seen from occasional visits ... Blue90
Thanks Barney, Wonderful drawings of the "what if" the designers had their way. The Indy Pace Car proposal; now that would have been quite the model; just think of the engine/tranny combinations! A real Reatta race car.😁

Josh B.
Those sketches are incredible. That last one especially. Looks like something out of Robocop. Interestingly, the first one looks an awful lot like a Volkswagen Corrado. Edited October 21, 2019 by Josh B. (see edit history)
padgett
I suspect the reason there was no production turbo Reatta was the lack of a strong enough FWD transmission. Both the turbo Regal and the Trans-Am were RWD.
