Brooklyn Beer
Where does one acquire kiln dried ash ? Is it anymore stable then poplar ?
knobless
There is a hard wood yard up here NH but I was going for poplar, and treat it with linseed oil ,a few times to let it sink into the wood, then use a foundation coating on the bottom, waterproof...Thanks for the inputs 👍
Taylormade
Wow, I didn’t know they still had wood sills in 34. My 32DL has wooden floors, but the sills are metal and integral with the body. I do have a sill like assembly around the top of the tool box.
Ian_Greenlaw
I replaced mine with Australian Hardwood and coated them in a black bitumen paint. Seems to have done the trick.
