1933 dodge sedan 4 door body i found, questions though

Recommended Posts

I found this body, I am thinking of buying, however, the two air vents on the hood do not look original or even close to my 1933 dodge which has 1 vent on the center. is this body a 33 dodge body or is the guy wrong and it is another style of body/mfg?

Square edges on top of windshield lead me to think it is more likely a 31 or 32 model year. Dual cowl vents are more likely DeSoto or Chrysler than Dodge or Plymouth. What the heck is the story with the rear window?

Looks like the body number tag is still on the firewall, that should give some information. At least the one on my '33 Plymouth starts with the engineering code for the car.

oh, now i see it.

i want the 4 door i posted above, however I think the rusted bottom doors and a-pillar's that hold the front passenger door are a bit to rusted and will need major repair to the lower portion.

but a bit of work never killed anyone, just not sure yet.
