Lebowski
This guy replaces the entire interior and convertible top-which he makes himself-on a '61 Caddy in this 8 minute video. He also makes his own door panels, among other things, and everything looks very close to original. Of course I'm no expert and some of you guys will probably criticize his work but I thought it was pretty impressive....
Mark Gregory
If the workers in Detroit had this mans work ethic the domestic car companies would still be number one . What beautiful work .
Xander Wildeisen
He must be drinking Red Bull, to work that fast.
trimacar
Very interesting video, from a trimmer's perspective there are a lot of things he did that could have been done better. Putting back the old foam and covering it with a layer of new foam would be first on the list, putting old materials back almost never works long term. Then there's a whole list of nit pick stuff, like wrinkles around edges of seat and seams that don't line up. Overall, looks nice though, although hourly rate must be incredible if you only work 8 minutes! I'd also say that a lot of the disassembly he shows took a LOT of work before the camera rolled, no dash pad just lifts out! Thanks for sharing. Mark Wetherbee
Piece work, cuz doing that on an hourly salary would leave him unemployed... Thanks for posting, would be interesting to know how many man hours went into it, and how much loose change he found under the seat.
