If you will PM me with your email address I will send you a couple possible contacts with whom you can commiserate, including one of a person who bought my last 403 and parts from 2 parts cars.  Hopefully the contact info will still be good.   
Despite their idiosyncrasies I was very fond of 403's and drove one 175,000 miles with the help of 2 parts cars.
