Ronnie
I was looking at my gauges on the CRT today with the engine running and I noticed that my alternator puts out about 13.4 volts at 2000 RPM. It has been a long time since I looked at it. Is that normal voltage? It seems like it is a little low compared to my Blazer that usually puts out about 14 volts but I'm not sure if my Reatta has ever put out that much. Any comments are appreciated. D-a-n-i-e-l
Mine always read 1 volt lower at the crt than with a meter at the alternator or battery
Ronnie
Thanks Daniel. I'll check it at the battery tomorrow.

Ronnie
Thanks. It appears my 13.4 volts is in the ballpark so I think I'm good.
padgett
Yes, between 13 and 14v at the dash is fine, do not want more or will cook the battery.
