Broke Joke
This is a cap on a piece of trim from a late 1930s or early 40s automobile. I used it for a grill on a tether car. But I would love to know what kind of car it came on. It’s hard to see in the picture but the bottom tapers down to a V and has a screw hole. Let’s see how good you guys are!! drwatson
The chrome car part serving as grille on tether car should have a part number on back. Listing # here should solve.
30DodgePanel
Nick is that you ? Sure seems like one of Nicks photo's .. lol Out of focus, at an angle, dark lighting, with no information at all … yep, that's gotta be Nick.. I'd guess it's a dash lamp or some other interior part from a late 30's era. Looks similar to the grill on a 38 Olds
Broke Joke
Okay, my bad for the poor photo! I feel like a real “Nick”! How about this... the car is about 18” long (for scale).
drwatson
It looks like the back half of a vintage Shure microphone.
D Yaros
Cannot explain why, but the part in question speaks 40s-50's era Oldsmobile to me; certainly GM.
