Recognize this heater control?

Looks like 53-54 Plymouth.

Could be several other models as well. My 52 looks just like it and my spare one as well. I want to say it is the 505 model but would have to check to be sure

Should have a part number on the back that will id what it fits.

I was going to say an early fifties Chrysler product, it has that look. Someone may come along who has the identical one in his car and nail it down exactly.

 

Could it be an add on piece meant to bolt to the bottom of a pickup truck dashboard? By that time heater controls on cars were usually built into the dash.

This is a stock automotive up grade heater for many Chrysler products from the early fifty's. They mount underneath the dash below the radio.
