dracenroc
I'm looking for a water inlet for a '28 Master. Mine looks some kind of self-made and doesn't really fit. The angle is not correct which leads to a bend in the hose.
Hubert_25-25
Late 1926 Master thru 1928 Master is the same part number. 207755. Yours does not look like a casting, so you may be able to bend it if you do not fined the part you are looking for. Terry Wiegand
It looks to me (from the one photo) that the water pump housing proper needs to be slightly indexed out from the cylinder block. Standing in front of the engine and looking toward the rear of the chassis, the pump housing needs to be rotated a few degrees counter-clockwise to take the kink out of the connecting hose. Just my 2 cents here. Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas
Terry Wiegand
And one more thing in regard to the hose - it needs to be quite a bit longer to cover the ends of the port tubes. Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas
dracenroc
@Terry: I guess the pump and inlet alignment is not to bad but the angle is definitely not correct. And yes, the hose is too short, I will replace it. The worse thing is the diameter differs from the inlet to the pump. Inlet diameter is bigger then the one on the pump, don't think this is factory made? @Hugh: If I couldn't find a replacement I'll try to bend it. The inlet is like this since I got the car, it worked so far but a correct one would be better.
McCargar
I have an intake off a '27 motor that's surplus to my needs if your interested. In fact I'm parting out a McLaughlin 27-27 which is going to be too much work for restoration, if there is any thing else needes. Wayne
dracenroc
Thank you Wayne! Don't know if the '27 fits the '28. Most probably yes, anyone? Werner

pepcak
More precisely - will 27-27 (Standard) part fit to (28) Master? Edited July 3, 2018 by pepcak (see edit history)
Hubert_25-25
Very few standard parts fit a master. I can check at home but I missed that detail
