mcdougall
Hi I see that hymans are advertising a 72 roadster for sale for $79500.00,is this price way over the top?. Would Chrysler have painted the roadster in this colour scheme? I was wondering if anyone has any information about this car? I have a 72 rolling chassis ,and would like to rebuid with this body type. Regards alex mcdougall
keiser31
Quite a nice car, but yes....maybe over the top price-wise....https://hymanltd.com/vehicles/6054-1928-chrysler-model-72-roadster/
viv w
George Dammann's book, "70 years of Chrysler" has a picture of a Chrysler 72 Sport Roadster. The text says the sport roadster differed from the standard roadster by having the color insert below the belt line. It also says the color insert matched the fenders. It looks to be a superbly restored car, but the color combination does not look right, my 2c worth. Viv.
lozrocks
I've seen a few 72's painted with that scheme. Being a AACA Senior National First Prize-winning car I'd be fairly confident it's an original colour scheme.
