basscaster
Cleaned out the parts shed yesterday, and found this old electronics device. I expect it is 1940s by the typeset, and has its own serial number. There is probably some other instrument that threaded onto the outside, but not sure. Any ideas what this may be? Label says CA Richey Enterprises, and it also has its own serial number. Box is bolted sut, and I havent had a chance to take it apart. Mikefit
Well there Is no doubt in my mind it was used to run the mileage back on cars in the 50s/60s. You unhooked the Speedo cable at the trans hooked the cable to the box and the next day the car had about 500 miles on it by morning.

padgett
Well since there is no picture of the innards or of the cable ends/connectors, can just say it is before Philips head screws were common.
JACK M
I'm pretty sure that's where grandpa stashed his money. Better open it up. Yes a fun nostalgia piece for sure.
