David P
Can anyone help me determine what size bleeder valves are in my 1956 Oldsmobile 88 2dr hardtop. I want to get speed bleeders for it but summit racing can't seem to find the correct size. Thanks...Dave
Bhigdog
what are you trying to bleed?
TerryB
Probably brake cylinders as that is a very popular use of speed bleeders. They have a built in check ball to make bleeding brakes a one man job. Terry
JACK M
Take one out and measure it.
misterc9
A 56 Olds probably came with a particular size bleeder. Aftermarket wheel cylinders could have a different size. Probably will have to remove and measure the threads on all four to be sure. Edited October 12, 2017 by misterc9 (see edit history)
David P
Bleeding brakes...Dad's working on the car. I think he put new cylinders on so I'll take one out and measure it. Probably 3/8 just need to see what the thread is. Thanks
