Bill Stoneberg
My 47 took the P-127 filter. Baldwin has one that crosses to it. The problem I found with some was that the hole in the middle was too small. Edited July 11, 2017 by Bill Stoneberg (see edit history)
Rooster
Thanks Bill What brand is the P-127 please. We have a Baldwin dealer locally.
Bill Stoneberg
Try a Baldwin P26 or Baldwin P53. Depending on the size of your canister one of those should fit. Just like all auto parts, they changed in the middle of a run. Edited July 11, 2017 by Bill Stoneberg (see edit history)

Joseph P. Indusi
On my 1948 Series 40 Special I used a Baldwin P53 that is supposed to be the replacement for an AC P115. Purolator number is L20051. The Baldwin P26 replaces the AC P127 that is used on my 1953 Series 40 Special that has hydraulic valve lifters. Joe, BCA 33493
BuickBob49
Watch out, though, the Wix filter for P127 that NAPA sells under their own label is slightly too tall. The Baldwin P26 filter, available through Bob's, is correct for my 1949 Super with stock hydraulic lifters and a three-speed manual transmission (late model production). Fram used to sell the correct filter, but I can no longer find it. It must have been the Baldwin filter. See attached photo.
Rooster
I'll take the filter out and have it with me ( and the interchange numbers) when I go to the supplier. See if they can match it up with anything they have in stock. Thanks again.
