Up for sale: Prewar 1936 Buick Model 40 (with sidemount spares)

Selling due to a move and no time to work on it.

Would be a great parts car or a challenging restoration.

Good:

Four new whitewall tires

Restored fuel pump (plus unrestored spare) and misc. engine components

Restored horns (left and right)

New headlight lenses

Radiator serviced professionally and in good working order

Clear title

Chassis appears to be in good condition

Big inline 8 in good condition, can manually turn, but haven't attempted a start

Only part missing that I can see is the carb air filter

Includes two sets of side-wheel covers in good condition (and all six wheels)

All chrome parts in good condition (except running board trim), but need re-chroming

Over 2000 photos of disassembly process

Car has been kept inside for last year (and is currently inside)

Bad:

Body is in rough condition

Running boards shot (have mechanical drawings for fabrication, though)

Interior is shot (again, all parts there, just in poor shape)

Will need a trailer to haul (happy to help load)

Chassis, drivetrain/engine, and outer body together

Rest of car is disassembled in boxes and on storage racks

Vehicle is in Lewes, DE 19958

Asking $1500 and willing to consider offers.  Thanks

Email, call/text (919-623-1999)
