Stephens used that earlier style badge up to 1922 then changed to a lightning bolt badge for the last two years - 1923-4  -   http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1916-24-stephens-radiator-badge-135516730    I was lucky enough to find one of these in the USA in 1978 for an acquaintance who was restoring one. The car is now in Europe somewhere   -  http://www.trombinoscar.com/usareste/stephens2201.html  That car has a 1924 radiator on a 1922 chassis.

I believe there are only about 10-15 surviving Stephens cars.

The car was comparable in size with a six cylinder Buick - about 240 cid ohv. It had unusual valve gear with the rockers pivoting from above in a cast iron valve cover and a gap in the block between the middle two cylinders for the plug wires to go through.
