HarryLime
I can help, as I recently restored a Neville wheel. Your spring is broken. The aluminum knob is threaded on the lock pin. Push the pin toward the rim as far as possible, until the knob is at the outer edge of its slot. Then push the pin under the knob up to free the knob from the spider casting slot. Then unscrew the knob from the pin. This will free the pin for removal with the spring. The threads are 12-24 I would estimate. Hardware store for the spring as close as you can to original. A little harder to install as it now has a stronger spring. But....it will go together.
RickBrinker
Just tried that seems like the pin is to long to come out of the hole ???
HarryLime
Do you have the knob removed ? Remove the outer end of the rod by pushing down and slide the rod outward to remove. How is the pin too long to come out of the hole ?

nearchoclatetown
Good for you, I'm sure the chicken had a fun ride. I took one for an extended drive yesterday. I need more room. I wonder how I could keep the wheel in the fatman position to drive, My belly has calluses from rubbing against the wheel.
