buick man
Found this and thought it very interesting and compelling. $ 2,750 OBO (419) 392-4144 - So what do you think ? http://www.antiquecar.com/category/For-Sale/American-Cars/Buick/listings/44122/1959-Buick-Lasabre.html Edited November 1, 2015 by buick man (see edit history)
Dwight Romberger
Great body style.Michigan is the buckel of the rust belt.Have someone check out the body and frame. Rocker panels and bottom of doors might not be in the pictures for a reason! It's a 2-door so it is a good candidate for a restomod or hot rod too.
JohnD1956
Agree w/ Dwight. Mice got in there somehow, and most likely through holes in the floor or rear quarters. Even the seller says to consider the worst before making an offer. So while the top side looks pretty good, I'd be in the scrap value range. If nothing else, the interior is going to be 4 - 5K alone. John_S_in_Penna
Paul, what do you mean with the crossed-out text?Do you mean that it really has been sold? If so, hope it goes to a good home!
buick man
Yeah i hear ya about the hidden aspects. But just looking at the photos, one's imagination takes off and can see a what if. What if one needed to only wash it off, clean things up, apply some strategic MMOil here and there, then take some real neat before and after photos and walla a drivable dream come true. Oh, and the floor pan is still in great shape along with the trunk and frame ! :')
