R.White
All the features such as emoticons, bold or italic, etc. seem to have been disabled. They are still visible but cloudy if that helps. What do I have to do to enable them? (The Enable emoticons box is ticked.)

R.White
Thanks Carl, I will try that. Thanks 1939-Buick, I have tried that but although it shows all the boxes ticked, the problem persists. This happened on my previous lap top and I thought with a Mac it wouldn't happen again. For 'Mac' read 'expensive'. Haha. Of course, it could be me. I am 'jinxed' where technology is concerned. My wife thinks I must be emanating some sort of "force field" Beam me up Scotty! Ray. Ron Lawson
Hey Ray Don't feel too glum It has only taken me 4 years to work out how to attach a picture to a post Compared to me you are a genius Ron
R.White
Hello Ron. If you think you've got problems try living with a real genius. My wife has a MENSA level I.Q. O.K. she isn't a genius but the trouble is that where most Women think they are always right, my wife actually IS always right. I would ask her to sort out this problem but she gets all "clever" and I end up feeling stupid. Better if I can find my own solutions to problems. http://geniustests.com/what-mensa-test Incidentally, I don't think she can be THAT smart - seeing as she doesn't like old cars! Ray.
