1912Staver Posted August 9, 2015 Share Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) Could be 1920's larger truck. Lots of them had tanks like this. They generally mount under the seat. You lift the seat cushion to read the gauge or add fuel. The small 90 Deg. fitting on the top of the tank is for a copper tube to a hand air pressure pump. You kept pressure in the tank to supply fuel to the carb., no fuel pumps in those days.
