trimacar Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 I remember working on one of my early Dodges, and seem to remember a retainer in front of the ball, below the radiator, with three bolts....the retainer was cupped to retain the front end of the ball. Radiator and front splash apron under radiator and frame rails had to be removed, then it was easy to get to....This is going on a 40 year old memory, so I could be mistaken, but that's the picture that's in my mind.... Bob Scafani Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 one thing to remember is that the engine must be removed through the bottom. There isn't enough room to take it out of the top.
