uh6077
My name is Shane and I live in Rochester, NY. I just picked up a 41 Desoto Deluxe 2dr, a car that I have lusted after for a long time. I have a few other cars and lots of vintage motorcycles but the Desoto is going to be the go to driver when I want to relax a bit. I have only had it for a few days and already put about 400 miles on it and showed it off at a cruise night. Runs and drives beautifully. It is typical driver condition with it's fair share of bumps and bruises but she looks mighty nice for being 73 years old and I am proud to have her in my garage. Interior is all original. Even still has the gas ration sticker from WWII and a "Vote for Roosevelt" sticker. I am thankful that it doesn't need anything right now but I am sure I will be picking your brains as the days come. This is my first flathead and I am really in love with it. I would love to find a local "expert" who can share some knowledge with me and point out any issues that should be addressed.
