Paul Falabella
Oil pan desludging taking longer due daily snow storms.Did get this plate off, whose purpose appears to be to catch P/S fluid after it drips off the starter motor.(better check those hose connections)After removing a 1/4 inch of fossilized p/s fluid/road grime mixture, it appears to have never been painted. That possible?Figured I'd ask before I hit it with the satin black and lose points at Pebble. Thanks

buick5563
Hit it with satin black. Pebble Beach will accept that. I assume you are talking about the starter splash pan. (That is what it is called)

Paul Falabella
You do have to wonder what they were thinking back then. Did a stylist draw a picture and bring it to engineering and say ,"build this"?
