Need help finding brake/clutch return springs for '28 Dodge

Where the heck can a guy find good strong PEDAL return springs for my '28 Dodge- they are probably about a 6" spring with hooks on both ends? My brake pedal takes two of them alone. Any ideas??? Thanks- Jim

If you know the wire diameter and coil diameter, and length McMaster-Carr has them as does Lee Springs.

If you have the original look at it closely, I think you may see that it is a spring within a spring, I do not believe these are avail but you will instead have to source some from E-bay or someone with an extra. If you had some way of determining the strength than I am sure a single spring set-up would work as well but I am guessing you have no way of testing this.

Thanks for the response- but I found lots of sizes at my local Menards and was able to hook two up and that seemed to do the trick.

There is a guy in Ventura, CA that has a 28 Dodge Brothers Flatbed truck and has, just about complete, and if I recall he is parting it out. He will also sell the whole thing to anyone interested.
