recomended shops for re-babbiting work

I did a search on this and came up with nothing.

Does anyone have a shop that they would recommend doing re-babbiting work on cars? None locally and my machinist doesn't know anyone that still does it.

Paul's Rod and Bearing in Missouri. They've done several engines for us.

I am not sure of anyone in Florida, but we have a few in Michigan and Ohio areas. Here is a name of a great shop that does all types of babbitting and general engine machine work and rebuilding from the most common to the rarest:

Hart's Machine Shop

Hart's Machine Shop, Cecil, Ohio

They do superb work and have a speedy turn around time.

Hudson 6 and 8 "splasher" engines--

These are pretty much a straight forward engine, and just about any babbitt shop should have no trouble performing the work.--Bob
