Dave Mellor NJ
This was posted on HAMB by Mazooma1. I had never seen or heard of it. It was labeled as a 56 which would make it the first with the quad headlights and the general styling is about 5 years ahead of its time.Plymouth Cabana concept car
Rusty_OToole
1956 would be about right if it was a show car. It anticipates features of the Chrysler and Imperial cars of 1960. I also see hints of 1958 Lincoln and 1960 Mercury. The way the front bumper wraps around the fender rings a bell but can't put my finger on it. keiser31
The car is a 1958 concept car. There was a 1957 Cabana, too. I tried to post a photo of the 1957, but my server will not let me for some reason. The '57 looked a lot like the "Plainsman" which is another Plymouth concept vehicle. Rusty_OToole
On thinking it over the front bumper reminds me of a 61 Tbird. Could be other cars had a similar style.
Dosmo
The concave grill is somewhat reminiscent of the Dodges for 1961.
john2dameron
Ugly enough to be an early version of the Pontiac Aztec. LOL
Dave Mellor NJ
1958 seems much more believable. The 4 door hardtop format with the rear suicides was contemporary to the Cad Brougham. The grille reminded me of a 61-62 Mercury.
Guest Old48Truck
It looks like the love child of a '64 Merc and a '59 Caddy.
