Rich Morton Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) Is is with great sadness that I report the passing on of our Director of the North East Ohio Chapter James Stambaugh Jr.There have been previous threads here that hinted at the difficulties presented recently to the Stambaugh family.Unfortunately the cancer which was just very recently diagnosed with Jim took his life early on the morning of July 20th.We will be hosting the Great Lakes Regional August 4-6th in Westlake Ohio and I hope that all who can attend can do so as a tribute to Jim and his Love of our club and Buicks.Jim leaves behind his wife Kelly,sons AJ and Jake, his parents Jim Sr. and Helen as well as two brothers, Joseph and Ralph.Listed below is the link for the web site containing his obituary including a photo.Please take the time to sign the guestbook if so inclined.Jim was 50 years old.James R Stambaugh | July 20, 2011 | Obituary Edited July 24, 2011 by Rich Morton Correction (see edit history) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BUICK RACER Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 GL Buick Club Directors:You may have already heard the very sad news that NE Ohio Chapter Director Jim Stambaugh Jr has passed away from a swift and devastating illness. Jim was also the Chairman of the 2011 GL Regional in Westlake OH coming up in about two weeks.The meet will still go on however any persons yet registering should send the forms to Heather Banhidy rather than the Stambaugh residence.
