Den41Buick
I am looking for a 6 volt (long length) battery. I have not found any on the internet. Locally what parts store carries them? So New England. Thanks
Steve Braverman
My Franklin uses one of these. They are available from NAPA, but they've gotten very expensive. Last I checked they were about $130. I bought a 6V Optima battery instead. It's so much better it's ridiculous. The car starts better, the lights are brighter, horn is louder, etc.. The Optima only weighs 18lbs and can not leak.$125 online.
Rusty_OToole
If you live in the city, look in the phone book for battery dealers. If you live in the country try a farm supply store. They stock 6 volt batteries for tractors. Including the long skinny ones.Or, the Optima is a better choice and worth the expense.
1937-44
Tractor Supply sells them for $89 and generally has them on the shelf.
