Guest Don29
I have read this post often and thought I would share my project .It is a 29 olds sport coup that my father had in a barn for 30+ years. I have worked on it for over a year now.Have the motor finished now only need fuel pump to see how it will run . New pistons, reconditioned rods, valve job bored balanced and ,head and block surfaced .Will start on front and rear end soon.Any thoughts on what I might need to do on this car would be great.Hope I can make the photos come with this post.Regards, Don

TexRiv_63
Great job, we don't see too many early Oldsmobiles. It will be a beauty when it's done!

keiser31
The only 3 things that I can tell you to do. #1-Take way more photos of everything prior to and during removal. You absolutely cannot have too many photos in the digital camera age. #2-Label EVERYTHING!! #3-DO NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY! You will probably need it as a pattern or for trading material for parts needed if any. That coupe is a GREAT looking car.
