Guest Grandpa Marc
Thanks for your input,Why would you spread a rim? This must be very old!
keiser31
Thanks for your input,Why would you spread a rim? This must be very old! Some of the early (1900s to 1920s) cars had rims that were split laterally and would expand or shrink to accommodate tire changes. Some of those used those types of spreaders. Guest Grandpa Marc
Thanks,Thats what I thought it was for. What would you think it would be worth to sell?
Larry Schramm
I have seen the rim spreaders go from $10-$75 with usually in the $20-$50 range. Is the item in the second picture some sort of tool? Also is the double handle maybe a load tiedown for a truck?

Shop Rat
For the future you might want to check with Greyhound Bus, or whatever bus company is in your area, to see what shipping with them would cost. Three years ago we used them to ship Legends racecar parts and it was way cheaper. We even shipped four fenders and didn't have to totally box them. They arrived in the same good shape we sent them in. The buyer was very pleased.
