Guest Foodchemist
I'm working on an old Chrysler and can't figure what year it is.It only has frame, drive train, chrome headlights, radiator, hood, firewall/dash and instrument cluster.Any help with year? Are there any patterns available for redoing the wood under the dash? Thanks. Larry Schramm
Can you get a good picture of the tag on the firewall and post it? It will probably have all of the numbers to tell you exactly what you need.

28 Chrysler
It is a 1925 Model B.1924 ID tags were in a different location and in 1926 they went to the Fedco system with the ID plate on the left side of the dash.

I thought that 1927 was the first "oval instrument" dash. Sorry for the missed i.d.
Guest Slingshot
I have a 26 50 series (4 cylinder) and the fenders, grille, cowl & lightbar appear identical to yours, but the dash is different and the firewall is different. Is your car a six? Anyway, I think you've got a 27.

Dave Mellor NJ
Those headlights are newer than the 25-26 as in the ad. The ones in the ad have a cross-section sort of like the liberty bell.

Dave Mellor NJ
I thought those lights were 31-32 but I didn't want to say for sure. I have a set of correct lights for this car if you're interested
keiser31
The head lights are "31 Chrysler.FOODCHEMIST sent me the serial number and it is a mid year 1925 Model B.I don't think that those are 1931 buckets...the '31 has the little point on the top of the bezel only...not the bucket. keiser31
These are like his lights. There is more of a point on the tops of the lights in question than what you are showing. I don't think that the buckets on the car in question are Chrysler at all. Edited January 5, 2011 by keiser31 (see edit history)
28 Chrysler
You are correct, they are different not only the pointed top but were the reflector mounts.
Guest Foodchemist
I went out and looked at the lights tonight. In the middle of the outside of the back, they are stamped withW.M. Hall Lampco. Detroit, Mich. USAThey are rounded like the ones in the picture above. They are all chrome on the outside. The front rings, reflectors and lenses were burned in a fire.
