What car are these from?

I was helping a friend who is ill by getting pictures of a 37 Olds coupe so he can sell it. However, the fenders, hood and grille are not 37 Olds parts.

What are they from?

Here is a '38. Olds. The grilles may have been different for the different models.

Looking at the #4 picture something looks odd. Is this an time period aftermarket grill. Oldsmobile is not spelled correct ! There were hubcaps that were offered by aftermarket suppliers that spelled names incorrectly to avoid law suits as I recall.

Teach me for not wearing my glasses! Sir, you are correct! However, it obviously is a replacement grille meant for a 38 six cylinder. The eights looked a lot similar but had many more bars.

That grille is a cheap cast replacement, prevalent in the 40s-50s low-bid body repairs,similar to the "Bool" hubcaps for fords

While it would be a judging nightmare wouldn't it be an interesting car that was restored using such parts ! I have seen a 40's Chevy that looks like it went thry Western Auto with a magnet turned on. I think it had almost everything that they sold back then. It was a little insane , But, still representative of how things were done back in the day.

Aftermarket parts regularly had the name of the car misspelled to get around trademark laws. Or, the name was sometimes represented by symbols.
