pmdolan
These were pulled from a barn in Canada. They were lightly marked "Lincoln???". I suspect that they may be Dodge. Any input is appreciated.
West Peterson
My guess is that they're NOT from a phaeton. More likely from a touring.
Layden B
I believe that Dodge were all steel bodies including the doors and had an unusual hinge design that allowed the doors to be removed without disassembling the hinge. Perhaps one of our Dodge experts can confirm that. These could be from a 1921 or 1922 Lincoln roadster or phaeton.West.. Are you trying to stur up that hornets nest? At this time Lincoln called their body a phaeton while Ford called theirs a touring. Other car manufacturers called theirs by other names, it would seem that the distinction is simply what the auto manufacturer called it. Just look at what has happened to cabriolet in out times! Steve Braverman
Rich people drove phaetons, poor people drove touring cars.
Layden B
Probably so, Model T tourings were made for the masses. Anyone who could own a Model A Ford Phaeton during the Great Depression was justified in thinking himself well off.
pmdolan
Thought I would revisit trying to ID these doors. I had a guy say he would take them from me. I offered to meet up with him at Hershey, then he was a no show. I never did determine what they are for.
28 Chrysler
They do not look like Dodge doors, wrong door handles inside and out, and are to flat.

Guest prs519
Are you certain that the light marking said Lincoln?> I would try other makes thatare more obscure starting with the letter L. The guy doing the marking may not have beenthe guy (vicariously) making the id! Sorry not much help but a thought.
keiser31
The way that they are displayed in the very first post has led everyone to think "phaeton" or "touring" car...could they be right and left "roadster" doors? They look pretty symmetrical to me (and being a Libra, I know symmetrical).
pmdolan
I do still have these doors. I am with Keiser. I am more inclined to think that they are a right and left, not a front and rear. That was just the way I set them for the photos.
